A dark colour with red on the rim. Charred oak and plums on the nose. The palate was rich with sweet, spicy fruit, assertive tannins and a dry, acidic finish. A well made wine that is drinking well but showing no signs of tiring.
“It’s important to me that when you drink Chalkers Crossing wine you get a true sense of the terroir of our vineyards in the beautiful NSW regions of Hilltops and Tumbarumba.”
Celine Rousseau, Winemaker
