The 2018 Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied wine with great substance and structure produced from carefully managed low yielding vines.
The wine was handcrafted and shows dark cherries, strawberry with a hint of Pinot gaminess.
The sweet fruit palate is rich medium-bodied with excellent structure and savoury length.
Careful vineyard management and cool long ripening produced exceptional quality fruit. The wine was cold-soaked for 4 days and then fermented in stainless steel with gentle cap management. The wine was then aged for one year in quality French oak barrels.
The 2016 Pinot Noir is delicious to drink now and will develop well in the bottle.
This is a great example of cool-climate Pinot Noir.
