Wimbaliri Four Vines Merlot Cabernet 2012

A$35.95

Wimbaliri is a small family owned and operated vineyard and winery with a passion for producing distinctive cool-climate wines. The vineyard sits at an altitude of 620m and is well positioned on a north-eastern slope overlooking a small valley with beautiful views, just three kilometres south of Murrumbateman village.

The soils of Wimbaliri are decomposed granite and gravels. Much of the vineyard is close-planted. Scott is winemaker, born in Wallsend Newcastle, a 6th-generation descendant of German vinedressers who emigrated to the Hunter Valley in the 1850s. Sarah draws upon her science background to assist in the vineyard and winemaking process.
