Collector Reserve Shiraz 2019
Made from mature shiraz vines grown on elevated sites at Kyeema, and Mount Nanima near Murrumbateman. The 2019 season presented ideal conditions for vine health in the Canberra District. Well-spaced rain events and generally mild to warm conditions eclipsed the challenging circumstances of the previous season, and very modest yields in 2013 produced shiraz grapes with fantastic flesh and backbone. The 2013 Reserve is beautifully ripe, and combines the intensity and vibrancy of the vintage with the spice, perfume and elegant structure that these vineyards consistently give. Showing plenty of youthful charm now, this wine will be at its best at between five to twenty years of age.
