This wine exhibits the acclaimed spice and fruit characters for which Canberra District Shiraz is celebrated. A complex nose foreshadows the rich, dark fruit on the palate, albeit with a light body. Its seamless integration between mid-palate fruit, spice, and the long soft, tannin finish reflects winemaking skill and attention to detail. With age, the wine will become progressively richer, revealing warmer, more complex flavours, riper berries and a little liquorice. Drink now, but definitely worth cellaring for 4-6 years.

Food match: All grilled meats particularly lamb. For vegetarians try brined and grilled eggplant. Better with cheese as it ages.
