“Satiny textured, medium weight, dark cherry, pepper, game meat and dried herbs. Spot on. Has a light slurpiness that shifts through the trailing finish to a very gentle tannin pucker. The wine slips on cool acidity, offers concentration, righteous ripe-ish fruit flavour, mellow spice that rolls long and lingers, a sheen of mixed herb greenery. Such a beautiful wine, charismatic, straight up delicious and feels very of the cooler climate place it was born from.”
