Shiraz from Billinudgel Vineyard, Lankeys Creek in the Tumbarumba Wine Region

Tempranillo and Merlot from Mount Tumbarumba Vineyard

Shiraz – Machine harvested 7 April 2021

Tempranillo and Merlot – Hand picked 8 April 2021

Bottled:  29 June 2021

Production: 208 dozen bottles

12.8% alcohol/vol

Appearance

Vibrant red with purple tinge

 

Nose

Black cherry and plum with a hint of pepper  

Palate

Fruit driven, crunchy and fresh with red and blue berry flavours and soft persistent tannins.  

This wine screams out to be paired with protein, roasted, smoked or BBQed.

What Alex Mackay (our winemaker) did

The grapes were fermented separately in stainless steel and, when blended, were given a taste of oak.
